EAGLES TEAM PROGRAM
Eagles Gymnastics has a stellar reputation for its competitive gymnastics program. Eagles athletes have been Missouri State Champions many times in its 25 year+ history and Eagles has had multiple Regional and National Champions.
Eagles competitive team program teaches discipline, self-motivation, time management, respect and concentration. In addition, the girls form close friendships that will last a lifetime!
USAG Xcel Team
The USAG Xcel Program is broken down into 5 Optional levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Xcel offers an alternative to the demanding nature of the Developmental Program while still allowing a gymnast to compete within the USAG system. The amount of hours is reduced and there is more flexibility in competition requirements. Every level will have its own Eagles-designed Optional routine and will compete with those routines through the State Championship level.
Xcels can choose to participate in all or some of the 4-5 meets that will be offered during the competitive season.
Eagles recommends Xcels attend our annual summer Team Camp. The camp is a time for team building, clinics, new skills, dance & of course crazy fun!
USAG Developmental Team
The Developmental Program is a USAG program with Levels 1 - 10. Athletes competing at Levels 1 - 5 compete compulsory routines: each child competes the same exact routines on each apparatus and uses the same floor music. Athletes competing at Level 6 and above compete Optional routines: each gymnast could compete their own unique routine on each apparatus, with requirements regarding elements and skills that must be included at each level. At Eagles, all Level 6 Optional gymnasts compete with the same Eagles-designed Optional routine.
This Program is a highly demanding, requiring a lot of time and dedication. Due to the levels of precision and difficulty required to execute routines, Developmental Program gymnasts will typically train between 8-20 hrs. per week. Former Competitive Eagles Gymnasts have gone on to compete at college level at such institutions as Oklahoma, Alabama, Mizzou, Ohio State, Iowa State, SEMO, Ball State and more.
TEAM SUMMER CAMP
Come join us for our “famous” EAGLES TEAM CAMP! Each year we put together an array of fun activities and LOTS of gymnastics to make the best TEAM CAMP in Kansas City!
We will bring in Coaches from around the U.S. to give us some fresh ideas and lots of great skill development!
