 Host Clubs: Eagles Gymnastics & Show Me Gymnastics 

Eagles Gymnastics and Show Me Gymnastics are proud to again be joining forces to host this year’s MO State Championships!  We are excited about having all Level 5 - 10 gymnasts on one big weekend  in one “BIG” venue.  All correspondence or questions about the meet should go through Eagles Gymnastics and Kim Fuchs.

PLEASE READ!

Rosters must be sent to EaglesKimFuchs@aol.com  or the Eagles Address above by March 1, 2010  (Postmarked!) Entry fees are due with the entry form.  Late entries will be accepted as long as space allows for an additional fee of $25.00. 

Entry fees should be sent to Eagles at the above address.  Entries will only be accepted with full payment (no credit card payments please!) and a full entry form filled out in its entirety.  All Coaches MUST have a CURRENT USAG Pro number, Safety Certification AND Background Check.

Please register ALL gymnasts that you expect to qualify.  Send in entry fee's for them.  We will refund all entry fee's for gymnasts not qualified, IF you contact me by email or phone to request the refund!  The DEADLINE to pull a gymnast out of the meet and receive a refund is 2 weeks prior to competition or March 5.  After that date there will be no refunds for any reason.  HOWEVER - we will gladly let them the gymnast compete in the State Meet if they qualify after that March 5 date. 
 
Injured athletes:  If you expect them to be able to compete by the date - please send in the entry fee and their information on the registration form.  We will refund this entry fee back to you if you let us know by March 5 that they will be unable to compete.  There will be NO REFUNDS after March 5. 
 
Late entries:  We will accept late entries before and after March 5 for an additional fee of $25.00 per gymnast.  Please contact me at email spinmosacc@aol.com for any additional late entries and I will be able to tell you if there is still space.
 
PLACE A TEAM AD!  If your parents would like to put in a GOOD LUCK ad for your team or their gymnast - please have them click on the AD information tab on the MO State Meet page!  What a great way to support your team!

At all MO Sanctioned Competitions, the coaches’ dress code is as follows:
1. Closed toe athletic shoes; Athletic warm-up pants or “Docker-syle” pants (No jeans).
2. Athletic or tailored shorts that are of a reasonable length (7” inseam). No holes, tears or short shorts.
3. Collared shirts, business casual shirts or T-shirts with gym logo. (No spaghetti straps, low-cut tops or midriff revealing shirts).
4. No hats or visors.

Regional Qualification Procedures

Level 9 & 10 Gymnasts

34.00 AA at State Meet
9.00 for Event Specialists

Level 8 Gymnasts

Level 8 Super Team - Saturday Night (63 Gymnasts)

bulletTop 9 Level 8 gymnasts from each State, regardless of age group
bulletTop 8 Gymnasts compete in their respective State Team Group, #9 Gymnast competes in the All State Group
bulletAll Gymnasts scores are eligible to count towards the Team Score (Top 5 out the 9 scores on each event)
bulletGymnasts will be split into two Age Groups, Junior/Senior for individual awards

Level 8 Individual Sessions - Sunday All Day (180 Gymnasts)

bulletLevel 8 gymnasts will guarantee qualification by scoring 34.00 AA at State Meet
bulletGymnasts scoring below a 34.00 will be picked up in order by State AA score to fill all remaining spots
bulletGymnasts will be split into 6 Age Groups (Youngest/Morning, Middle/Afternoon, Oldest/Evening)

Petitions

The procedure for Petitions to Regionals will be as follows:

bulletDownload the USAG Petition Form
bulletSubmit the Petition form with a copy of your meet results to Linda Thorberg - R4-TCC (Fax - 952-431-5300)
bulletPetitions must be submitted within 3 days of the completion of your State Meet
bulletGymnasts wishing to petition must enter the Regional Championships at their State Meet (It should be noted on the entry form that they are a petition)
bulletIf the Petition is not approved the entry fee will be refunded

Level 9 & 10 Petition score is a 35.00 AA.

Level 8 Petition Information

bulletUse your highest All Around score from this season
bulletAll Around score minus 1.00 will be the Petition Score (Gymnasts with a 35.00+ AA would have a Petition Score of 34.00+, and would be guaranteed a spot if the petition is approved)
bulletThe Petition Score will be added to the list of gymnasts from State Meets not attaining a 34.00 AA
bullet(This is consistent with the policy of Petition Scores being 1.00 higher than the qualifying score)
bulletYou will be notified along with the other gymnasts who will be picked up for Regionals no later than one week
bulletprior to Regionals
