 Kim Fuchs
Owner and Head Coach
Kim started coaching gymnastics while still in high school,
as a way to balance her sport with some teenage income.
In 1983 she built the gym next door to our current facility
and out grew it so fast she built our current gym in 1986.
Coaching numerous State, Regional, and National Champions
including current National Team member and Junior Olympic
National Champion Sarah DeMeo,
as well as many scholarship athletes,
EAGLES has been the most successful gymnastics program in
Kansas City. Kim has been the USA Gymnastics State
Chairman for MISSOURI for 6 years and also serves on the
Regional Board of USA Gymnastics. She has been part of the
USA Gymnastics National Staff for the past 2
years. She was named Junior Olympic Coach of the Year
for MO in 2009 & 2010. She has also been awarded the very
prestigious Region IV Contributor of the Year 2010! Kim is
married to a wonderful husband Kristian
laCour-Madsen, and enjoys her three yorkie kids!

 Kami Claridge:
Competitive Team Director
Kami moved to the Kansas City
area in 2004 after growing up in Columbia, MO. She was a
gymnast at the Columbia Gymnastics Center where she competed
until she was Level 9. Kami had been coaching at St. Louis
Gym Center in St. Louis until her move to KC. She has been
coaching for 11 years. Kami is married to Jake and has
a son named Kennedy and a daughter Makenna.

 Michael Wells:
Recreational Program Director
Michael moved to the Lawrence
and Kansas City area in 1998 after teaching tumbling and
trampoline in Southeast Kansas. He has been coaching at
EAGLES for 10 years. Married to Stephanie, they
have a baby girl, Natalie Elizabeth, and one on the way! |

 Margo
Hurst:
Mighty Munchkin & Cheerleading Director
Margo started her gymnastic career as a small
child in the Eagles Mighty Munchkins Program, and competing on a
team in Western Kansas, she
enhanced her passion for gymnastics by moving into the world of
cheerleading. With over 15 years of Sideline and Competitive
cheerleading experience, including the opportunity of being Head
Coach of the Kansas City Jazz Cheerleaders(KC’s Semi Pro Team),
she was an NCA All American, DCA Staff Member and UMKC Coed
Cheerleader. Married to Jeff Hurst, they have four energetic
children Annamarie, Jeffery, Faith and Jordan

 Vickie Drehle: Office Director
Vickie
came to Eagles 23 years ago because she loves kids and Eagles programs!
Tara, Vickie’s oldest daughter was a member of Eagles Competitive Team and
her youngest daughter Samantha, is a classical guitarist who loves to spend
time at Eagles. She has had the opportunity to watch Eagles grow over the
years and is excited to watch Eagles continuing growth.

Polly Klaus - Competitive
Level 4 Head Coach
Polly has been coaching at Eagles in the level
4 program since 2003. She was on the Eagles gymnastics team back in
the 1980’s. Her daughter Erin is a level 9 gymnast at Eagles and she
started in the preschool program. Polly is married and also has two
other children, Michael and Tommy. She enjoys playing tennis.

Kathryn Bornus - Competitive Level 6 Head Coach
Kathryn has been coaching competitive team for
the past 11 years. She was a gymnast in Fargo, ND until she moved to
Kansas City where she competed until level 9. She also works full
time in medical sales specializing in pain management.
